Tell our readers about yourself and your blog

I’m a life and style blogger on Green Fashionista that showcases real outfits that are affordable and wearable while also recapping fun events from around Central Florida and my travels outside the state/country. I wanted a place to showcase my favorite fashion and beauty finds, and fun stuff to do around town. Orlando is SO much more than the theme parks.

How did you establish your “theme” or brand?

It took years to finally fall into the Life & Style niche, but it’s the perfect balance of my personal (and attainable) style mixed with fun weekend posts.

Where do you find the inspiration for your blog posts?

Other bloggers who come off as genuine

What do you think is the best strategy to get more traffic to your blog?

Engage with other bloggers

What’s your favorite social media platform?

Instagram is my favorite, but their algorithm drives me nuts along with every other blogger. Snapchat and Twitter are also fun, and much more user-friendly.

How do you gain followers?

Engaging with others via social media and leaving comments on other blogs.

Once you have the followers, how do you keep them?

Consistent and fresh content.

How many times a week do you post?

2-3.

Is this a part of your strategy to keep gaining followers or do you post at random?

No, I consistently post Monday, Wednesday, and Friday sometimes skipping Monday or Friday.

What are some misconceptions about social media?

That all bloggers buy their followers or only post sponsored content.

How do you find relevant hashtags for your photos on Instagram?

I start typing in something relevant to what I’m posting or see what others are using for hashtags that have the same type of feed.

Do you have photos taken professionally or do you take them yourself?

My husband and my friends take my pictures.

What are some tips you can give in order to take a good photo?

Natural lighting is your best friend, but not in the direct sunlight in the middle of the day. The “golden hour” is the best time to take pictures but since that’s not always easy to do because of busy schedules a cloudy day or shaded areas on a sunny day work great too.

What’s your favorite location to take photos?

Parks, alley ways, by the water, etc..

What are your top 3 favorite emojis?

 ????????????

How do you keep your website updated & relevant?

Consistent and fresh content, and sharing the latest/greatest, sales, etc..

What apps would you recommend to our followers?

PicTapGo, Influenster, and Style Collective

What else do you want to add to help small business owners?

Be real! People would rather follow a business that acts more like a person than a brand.
