Reading Time: 2 minutes

You can never be too prepared with a Casselberry social media marketing plan. Trust me, planning is the key to success!

Planning is one of my favorite things in the world. In my life, nothing EVER goes according to plan. It took me five years to graduate from Indiana State University. I thought I was going to be a big city radio personality until I realized how difficult it was to just get a job! Now that I work in the marketing industry, I have plenty of time to focus on a Casselberry social media marketing plan. It’s one of my favorite things about working with a client’s social media accounts.

Casselberry Social Media Marketing PlanWhy Should I Plan?

Everything needs a plan. While it’s fun and adventurous to “wing it” from time to time, you need a Casselberry social media marketing plan in place to help your digital marketing efforts. I get busy managing my day to day tasks by creating posts for clients and helping with other marketing efforts. If I didn’t have a Casselberry social media marketing plan to help me, I would probably lose my mind with the number of posts I create each month!

How Do I Plan?

This is the part I’ve been dying to get to with this blog. There are several ways you can plan. One includes creating the post in your head and scheduling them out in your social media management software. However, this is how I organize a Casselberry social media marketing plan:

  1. I take a blank sheet of paper and write down all of my ideas for the month. This includes reusing an old popular post, any specials you’re offering over the next month, and your main subjects.
  2. Next, I look for any pictures I may need. Make sure any pictures that you use from the internet are royalty free! If not, you can get sued as this is someone’s creative work (We use stock images by using Deposit Photos).
  3. Once you’ve found all of the pictures you need, begin scheduling your posts. You can schedule as many posts as you want but I advise doing fewer and putting more time into creating a great post. Social media now values quality posts over quantity.

The Software

If you need a social media planning software, look into Buffer or Hootsuite. Both companies provide viable options for scheduling out social media posts. Once you have planned out a month’s worth of posts, you’ll see how much time you’ve saved, as opposed to thinking about what you’re going to post on a daily basis. Having a Casselberry social media marketing plan helps you save time so you can focus on the most important aspect of your business: growing!
