Starting your Orlando business is a lot of things; it’s hard, scary, exciting and exhilarating. All of those combined can make it hard to concentrate on remembering everything you need to make your business successful. When starting your business, some people may not even know where to start, especially when it comes to their marketing. Marketing, when starting your business, is usually the last thing on people’s minds; they’re concentrating on a space, maybe a desk, and most of all – customers!
So, what do you need to do to prepare yourself when starting your Orlando business? Well, there are a lot of things, but let’s start with the basics:
- Make a website. When you own your own business, a website is a necessity. Everyone Googles, and, let’s be honest, when you don’t know something, don’t you say, “Just Google it.” Now, this website doesn’t have to be state-of-the-art-crazy-out-there, it can be simple and to the point. You want to make sure you have one thing when designing your website; your contact information is in a visible spot. It can be frustrating to your customers if it’s not in a visible spot, and the last thing you want is for them to search for it, and then give up, which can lead to you losing a sale.
- Create your social media platforms. Social media is not only fun and entertaining, it’s a necessity when starting your business. Think of it this way… you’re able to tailor who you connect with, a.k.a. your primary audience! This is the best way to get the message out about your Orlando business and to connect with people who can use you.
- Blog, blog, blog. Just like when you’re searching for a piece of property, it’s all about three things… location, location, location. Relate this to your blogging when starting your business. It’s all about the great content you can give to your clients. People love learning, and if they’re searching for something you can provide, there’s a greater chance of you being found because of your knowledge and information. On top of this, posting your blog on your social media sites, as mentioned above, enables you to share your content with your audience once again. Setting you up for success!
